Shen Yun — the world’s best dance institution — has finalized 2026's schedule of programs connecting dozens of the country's most esteemed venues, including the Wang Theater At The Boch Center on Friday 10th April 2026!

Long before the era of Communism, FIVE MILLENNIA of legends, arts, and culture prospered in every region of mainland China, and year in and year out, the New York-based Shen Yun breathes life into these enduring treasures for everyone to cherish! This year will be the same.

Celestial beings treading across the earth. Vast grasslands streaked by Mongolian horse-riding nomads. And battlefield heroism of lionhearted soldiers. Shen Yun’s seasonal shows revolve around the many myths and epics that spanned Chinese dynasties, imaginatively illustrating their romances and tragedies with teachings from Taoist and Buddhist beliefs to round up each story.

The forthcoming production will showcase twenty narrative segments of unbelievable performances in approximately 2 hours. Professionally trained dancers decked in charmingly colorful costumes will flutter through the floor, chronicling the event’s stories through 17 to 18 complex ethnic dance pieces. Additionally, 2 to 3 instrumental and vocal solos will intersperse these chapters with soaring melodies — both traditional and original.

A live orchestral ensemble will perform a rousing score throughout the show, inventively incorporating Western and Chinese instrumentation. In terms of staging, Shen Yun makes use of a cutting-edge virtual backdrop to render life-like scenarios, drawing audiences into the expanse of ancient Chinese civilizations in a spectacular fashion.

During the run's stop in Boston, Massachusetts, the world-class Wang Theater At The Boch Center will be our host.
