Born in Argentina, Ricardo Montaner has become one of the most successful Latin pop singers in the world. He emerged in 1976 when he recorded his first ever single, “Mares.” Pursuing his music in Venzuela during his early years, Montaner eventually found incredible success during the 90s. In 1997, signed with Warner Music and released Es Asi, which earned platinum certification in the US. The album spawned many hits including the Billboard charting single, “La Mujer De Mi Vida.” Two years later, Montaner released a groundbreaking album, Con La London Metropolitan Orchestra, which earned platinum status in both Argentina and the U.S. Montaner would eventually release over 20 albums throughout his career and sell over 10 million records worldwide. He’s recorded to be one of the best selling Latin pop singers of all time. Montaner has also gained numerous prestigious accolades for his amazing work, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
