Don't let this intro fool you into thinking that it's going to be a slow show worthy of an expensive nap at the Wang Theater. Paul Simon is usually joined by incredible musicians on stage, and the blues, jazz, folk, and rock vibes will reign supreme from the moment that he takes the stage. It's one of those shows inside a theater like this where you might catch yourself dancing in your seat at certain points. If that's the case, embrace the situation, go all out, and have a blast!
That's one of the coolest things about a concert like this. There's usually no pressure from the performer to push a particular new release or anything like that. Now, Paul Simon did delve into a bit of a Christian theme with his Seven Psalms album, but he's hitting the road while promoting a "Greatest Hits" playlist on streaming platforms.
