Dancing with the Stars… we all know this! It's this American dance competition TV series that first hit the screen on June 1, 2005, courtesy of ABC. It’s the American cousin of the UK show Strictly Come Dancing, part of the bigger Dancing with the Stars family. They team up famous folks with expert dancers, and these duos groove their hearts out, strutting their stuff on the dance floor with pre-set routines. The judges give them points, and the audience votes count too. Each week, the pair with the lowest total (judges' points plus audience votes) gets the boot, until we're left with the ultimate dance champs. It's a real dance-off!
For season 32, the series streamed live on both ABC and Disney+. Julianne Hough recently joined the show as a judge and she will be joining the tour on select dates. “So to be back on the road to go to the city where all the fans are, who have been following Dancing With the Stars from the beginning and my personal career," she said. "I just want to go and see everybody and connect again. Being back on the show, it's a family. I got to go on tour. I got to do the whole thing. It's full circle, you know? That's where it all started. I started on tour before I was ever on the show.”
She also teased that each show is going to be something different, so the audience should prepare to be surprised. Well, good news for fans in Boston, Massachusetts because the show is coming straight to you! If you’ve been watching the show on your TVs, now you have an even better experience.
