Found at 270 Tremont Street in Boston's Theatre District, this 1925-built "film cathedral" was originally the Metropolitan Theatre and opened as the "roaring '20s skyscraper of fun" and the tallest building in Boston. It seats just over 3,500 guests over five lavishly decked-out levels and 20 gilded boxes, with crystal chandeliers and real marble columns. It gained its Wang Theatre name in 1983 and now hosts various events, from concerts to comedy and Broadway productions.
