After an entirely sold-out run in 2025, Dancing with the Stars: Live! is back, even bigger for 2026, now featuring a record-breaking 74 dates across North America, from Akron, Ohio, in January all the way to Salt Lake City, Utah, in May, the longest tour in the show's live history.
2026 also sees the very first family Stars, reuniting pro couple Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson for the first time in five years! This year the live show will bring you standout routines from the current DWTS Season 34, along with new and exclusive numbers choreographed by Emmy winner Mandy Moore (Taylor Swift's Eras Tour and La La Land)
With a staggering 10-12 routines per night, you'll get a fast-paced mix of solo pro showcases, group numbers, and recreated TV highlights. For the January 24, 2026, Boston show, expect Season 34 recreations like Robert Irwin's car-jump stunt from premiere night, named "the best first dance ever" by judge Derek Hough, some superbly athletic routines from Jordan Chiles' Olympic-inspired gymnastics-dance fusion, and new Mandy Moore-choreographed pieces inspired by TikTok-viral dances. Celebrity guests rotate by city, so it could be anyone, but Boston's lineup may include East Coast favorites from Season 34, like NYC native Alix Earle.
Dancing with the Stars: Live! runs for about 2 hours, usually starting at 8:00 PM and wrapping by 10:00 PM. There will be an intermission halfway, and for the superfans, do wait around at the end, as post-show pros will be signing autographs in the lobby.
Dancing with the Stars: Live! Stars are Season 25 pro debutant, Brandon Armstrong, three-time finalist mentor and winner of Season 28, Alan Bersten, three-time Mirrorball winner for Seasons 14, 18, and 20, Val Chmerkovskiy, and his now wife, the two-time champ of Seasons 23 and 26, Jenna Johnson. Season 30 winner Daniella Karagach and husband-and-wife choreography duo Pasha and Daniella Pashkov. Season 31 finalist Emma Slater, Season 29 finalist Britt Stewart, a rising troupe member from Season 33, Hailey Bills, and Season 32 newcomer Ezra Sosa.
Opening in 1925 as the Metropolitan Theatre, Boston's tallest building, and its 3,600 capacity made it New England's largest theater. It also boasts, at 60 feet wide, one of America's biggest stages! The venue was the filming location for American Hustle's casino scenes and The Witches of Eastwick's house interiors.
The Boch Center is just a 2-minute walk from Boston Common and South Station, plus there are nearby garages ($10-15 evenings) to park in.
