This album follows Byrne’s latest work American Utopia and will officially be his first new album in seven years. Singer-songwriter David Byrne rose to prominence in the late 70’s upon finding immense success with his band Talking Heads. The group became one of U.K.’s most sensational new wave acts, with singles like “Take Me to the River” and “Psycho Killer.” In the 80s, Byrne together with his band rose to incredible stardom with the release of Speaking in Tongues. The album spawned the mega hits, “Burning Down the House” and “This Must Be the Place.” During this era, Byrne also pursued his solo career and worked with a ton of collaborations. In 1981, he dropped his debut album, My Life in the Bush of Ghosts with Brian Eno. Byrne has released a total of 10 efforts with his upcoming work Who is the Sky set to drop this September.
