A hilarious and fascinating podcast that features a celebrity mystery guest who will answer the hosts' burning questions, SmartLess has been a huge success since it began in 2020 as an antidote to the crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, this fun and improvised interview show takes to the stage and you can enjoy it in person! Not only that but the show will be filmed as part of a Discovery+ docuseries that will air in 2022!
Hosted by Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes, SmartLess is a weekly podcast that features a mystery guest each episode, who will be revealed by one host to the two others. The hosts then interview the mystery guest – generally a celebrity, but from varying disciplines. The show is unscripted and the conversations flow organically. The show premiered on July 20, 2020 on several major podcast platforms. Amazon.com Inc acquired the podcast in June 2021 and will make the podcast available on Amazon Music and Wondery+ one week before other podcast and streaming platforms. Discovery+ have commissioned two documentary-style specials following the three hosts during the six-city 2021 SmartLess live tour, featuring behind-the-scenes footage and celebrity interviews that will be aired on the streaming service in 2022.
